<h3 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading">English </h3>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Short review</h3>

<p>Just before Christmas, the symphonic metallers<strong> AD INFINITUM</strong> (<a href="https://www.facebook.com/AdInfinitumMusic">Facebook</a> ) release a <strong>contemplative version of their impressive debut album &#8222;Chapter I Monarchy&#8220; </strong>by interpreting all songs in a<strong> purely acoustic version. It´s called &#8222;Chapter I Revisited&#8220;.</strong></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Does that make sense?</h3>

<p>&#8222;See You In Hell&#8220; and &#8222;Tell Me Why&#8220; were already present on the regular output. That leaves 8 songs that are actually &#8222;new&#8220;.<strong> Melissa Bonny as a gifted singer has a lot to offer vocally and can delight with a soft melodic voice as well as with dark growls.</strong> Admittedly I was sceptical about this output. But my doubts were blown away right after the first sounds of the first song <strong>&#8222;Infected Monarchy&#8220;</strong>. <strong>The acoustic guitar playing with its Spanish folklore flair really inspired me. </strong>The very successful<strong> single &#8222;Marching On Versailles&#8220;</strong> (1.2 million hits on youtube) can also be enjoyed as an acoustic version, but <strong>listen and see for yourself.</strong></p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe title="AD INFINITUM - Marching On Versailles (Acoustic) | Napalm Records" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QviY_6auaQc?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Another beauty</h3>

<p>unfold the songs in this performance. And one could think that it could become boring in the long run. This worry is by and large not confirmed. You can clearly see from the songs that the band is very busy with it and that<strong> they approached this project with heart and mind</strong>. Despite the limited instrumentalization, the band emphasizes variety and dresses the songs in slightly different clothes. <strong>&#8222;Maleficent&#8220; for example surprises at the end with dark growls </strong>and spices up the music menu; unfortunately only for this song. On the other hand, some songs just splash along nicely.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Result</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="alignright size-large is-resized"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" src="https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-1200x800.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-103865" width="308" height="205" srcset="https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-1200x800.jpg 1200w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-300x200.jpg 300w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-768x512.jpg 768w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-600x400.jpg 600w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-2048x1365.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 308px) 100vw, 308px" /></figure></div>

<p><strong>All in all, it is a relaxed, melodious album with excellent guitar sounds and a wonderful singer who interprets the songs sensitively and lets them shine in a different light.</strong> So it remains an interesting idea, which you should definitely pay attention to in order to be able to switch off from loud rock and metal. In any case listen to it!</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Kurzreview</h3>

<p>Die Symphonic-Metaller <strong>AD INFINITUM</strong> (<a href="https://www.facebook.com/AdInfinitumMusic">Facebook</a> ) bringen kurz vor Weihnachten eine <strong>besinnliche Version ihres beeindruckenden Debütalbums &#8222;Chapter I Monarchy&#8220;</strong> heraus, indem sie <strong>alle Songs in einer reinen Akustikversion interpretiert haben</strong>. Es heißt <strong>&#8222;Chapter I Revisited&#8220;!</strong></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Macht das Sinn?</h3>

<p>&#8222;See You In Hell&#8220; und &#8222;Tell Me Why&#8220; waren bereits auf dem regulären Output vorhanden.

<figure class="wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe loading="lazy" title="AD INFINITUM - Marching On Versailles (Acoustic) | Napalm Records" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QviY_6auaQc?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Fazit</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="alignright size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-1200x800.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-103865" width="308" height="205" srcset="https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-1200x800.jpg 1200w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-300x200.jpg 300w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-768x512.jpg 768w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-600x400.jpg 600w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ad-Infinitum_photo-credit_Claudia-Chiodi-2048x1365.jpg 2048w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 308px) 100vw, 308px" /></figure></div>
