Produziert hat das Album Jeff Glixman. Es befinden sich 19 Tracks darauf, welche im Frühjahr 2017 bei 12 Konzerten auf der 40th Anniversary Leftoverture-Tour mitgeschnitten wurden. Das komplette „Leftoverture“-Album aus dem Jahre 1976, sowie Tracks aus dem letzten Longplayer „The Prelude Implicit“, plus einige ihrer Hits und lange nicht gespielte Nummern, begeisterten die Fans.

„Leftoverture Live & Beyond“ wird knallen

Mit dem 40-jährigen Jubiläum von „Leftoverture“ und dem Release von „The Prelude Implizit“ starteten Kansas ihre größte Headliner-Tour seit Jahrzehnten.  Der überwältigende Erfolg dieser Tour führte die Band dazu, zusammen mit Inside Out Music, ausgewählte Songs aus der Tour als Live-Album zu veröffentlichen.

Phil Ehart, der Drummer von Kansas, sagt dazu:

“When we saw how much our fans enjoyed the Leftoverture 40^th Anniversary Tour shows, we knew we had to record a live album. When it came to finding someone to produce it, we thought the best possible person would be the guy that produced ‘Leftoverture’ forty years ago.  So, we called Jeff Glixman!”

Jeff Glixman fügt hinzu:
