Ein neuer Stern am Metal-Himmel leuchtet aus Michigan/USA – und der heißt OF VIRTUE. Mit ihrem coolen Mix aus brachial-melodischem Sound sowie shoutenden bis clean gesungenen Vocalparts macht das Quintett derzeit alles richtig. Wie sonst ist es zu erklären, dass OF VIRTUE bereits nach zwei Jahren in mehr als 25 Ländern gespielt hat und die Karriereleiter immer weiter nach oben klettert? Die Idee hinter „Suffer“

Der Gitarrist der Band, Damon Tate, klärt auf, wie es zum Inhalt und damit zum Songtitel „Suffer“ kam:

„We all have moments where we are grasping for straws, trying to make sense of the mess around us and just come up with nothing. ‘Suffer‘ was written from the perspective of someone who can’t seem to get out of their own head at times and is fed up with where their choices have led them. The song also deals with the role religion plays into this search and how people can use or attempt to pacify themselves with religion instead of taking a hard look into themselves in order to figure out the root of the pain.“

Das Album von OF VIRTUE

Mit „What Defines You“ erscheint am 24. Mai 2019 via SharpTone Records das neue Album der Band, die aus Tyler Ennis (Gesang), Damon Tate (Gitarre), Michael Valadez (Gitarre), Jon Fox (Bassist) und Kyle Pruehs (Schlagzeug) besteht. Dass die Jungs ihre Instrumente voll unter Kontrolle haben, zeigt auch das 2. Musikvideo und der echte Kracher-Song „No Control.“ Macht euch auf einen Abriss gefasst!
