Symphonic Metal

aus dem tiefsten Russland! Die Band DEMUNILLUSIONS (Facebook, Homepage ) hatte vor fast einem Jahr einen Auftritt bei `metal-heads.de´ (Artikel hier ). Bekanntermaßen schlagen unsere Herzen hier bei `metal-heads.de´ auch für den Underground. Und als Band vom nördlichsten Zipfel Russlands hat man es sicherlich noch schwerer seine Musik in die Welt zu tragen. Trotz der Abgeschiedenheit und sehr bescheidenen (finanziellen) Mitteln hält die Band an ihrem Traum mit bewundernswerter Beharrlichkeit weiter fest. Auch die zusätzliche Erschwernis der Pandemiekrise konnte ihren Kampfesgeist nicht brechen und sie waren weiterhin fleißig.

Nun haben DEMUNILLUSIONS die neue Single „Lost Vanguard“ herausgebracht. Und ich finde, dass die Band wirklich Potential besitzt und tolle Musik macht. Das habe ich damals schon so empfunden und ich bleibe bei meiner Meinung. „Lost Vanguard“ ist ein astreiner Symphonic-Metal-Track, der mit viel Bombast und Power in die Vollen geht. Dabei gibt es noch charmante Melodien obendrauf und zum Ende weiß ein grandioses Finale zu begeistern. Und an dem Punkt hätte ich mir aber tatsächlich gewünscht, dass es eben nicht das Finale des ( doch leider recht kurzen) Songs gewesen wäre, sondern der Auftakt zum nächsten Akt des Songs. Aber letztendlich ist es ein toller Track und ich würde mich sehr freuen (und die Band noch viel viel mehr), wenn Ihr der Gruppe Eure Aufmerksamkeit schenken würdet. Sie haben es verdient!

Symphonic Metal

from deepest Russia! The band DEMUNILLUSIONS (Facebook, Homepage ) ) was one at `metal-heads.de‘ almost a year ago (article here ). As is well known, our hearts here at `metal-heads.de‘ also beat for the underground. And as a band from the northernmost tip of Russia, it’s certainly even harder to bring your music to the world. Despite the remoteness and very modest (financial) means, the band continues to hold on to their dream with admirable perseverance. Even the additional complication of the pandemic crisis could not break their fighting spirit and they continued to be diligent.

Now DEMUNILLUSIONS have released the new single „Lost Vanguard“. And I think that the band really has potential and makes great music. I felt that way back then and I stand by my opinion. „Lost Vanguard“ is a slick symphonic metal track that goes all out with lots of bombast and power. There are still charming melodies on top and at the end a grandiose finale knows how to inspire. And at this point I would have wished that it was not the finale of the (unfortunately quite short) song, but the prelude to the next act of the song. But in the end it’s a great track and I would be very happy (and the band even much more) if you would give the group your attention. They deserve it!
