Neuigkeiten gibt es aus Schweden. Unsere Lieblings Stoner Rock Band Deville kündigt einige Veränderungen im Line-up an.

Neu am Bass findet man nun Martin Nobel, den man schon zuletzt im Februar und Mai live in Deutschland sehen durfte. Martin konnte schon einige Erfahrungen in Bands wie Bad Barber sammeln. Am Schlagzeug wird ab sofort Martin Fässberg die Sticks schwingen. Martin spielte vorher in Bands wie Quit Your Dayjob, SUMA und Psykonauten. In einem Interview mit slavestate.se gab Frontmann Andreas Bengtsson an, noch dieses Jahr durch Europa touren zu wollen.

Bewegende Worte zum Abschied

Die ehemaligen Mitglieder Markus Nielsson und Markus Akesson haben sich leider in den letzten Monaten dazu entschieden die Band zu verlassen. Bandkopf Andreas widmete seinen alten Mitstreitern folgende Worte:

After playing more than 15 years together in different constellations and now Deville for over 10 years, Markus Nilsson (drums) and Markus Åkesson (bass) have decided to leave the band and move on with other things. These things happen in life and often in bands, people change their goals and priorities. There are no hard feelings and their decisions are fully respected. We are still close friends and of course family. We shared alot together during the years and always had a positive and fun vibe that I will remember most since that is what I believe is one of the most important things you need to have in a band to be able to tour and doing good records. You will always be apart of the Deville family. Love you guys and thank you for everything! A new era in Deville is now here. It will be a big change and the ride will continue. The new members will be announced soon and me and Wulkan is excited about the new line-up and know it will be bad-ass.

Die Band im Video

metal-heads.de hatte mehrmals die Gelegenheit, die Band vor einem ihrer intensiven Konzerte zu treffen. Ihr Halt im Februar in Essen war für uns die Chance, bei den wortgewandten Schweden einmal persönlich vorbei zu schauen. Wir hatten die Ehre, mit der halben Band über ihre bisherigen Tour-Erfahrungen sowie über das neue Album „Make It Belong To Us“ zu plaudern und konnten so für euch Einblicke in den Schreibprozess bei der Entstehung der neuen Songs gewinnen. Aber schaut selbst rein!
