<h4 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading">(English review down below)</h4>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Einen Knallereinstieg</h3>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe title="Fire From The Gods - Soul Revolution (OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO)" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pxiFFZ57vW0?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Nach hart folgt zart</h3>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe title="Fire From The Gods - ‘SOS’" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mZSJMJJEzio?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

Dann wisst Ihr, was ich meine!</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe title="Fire From The Gods - Excuse Me (Official Music Video)" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/F3wMPkrz3Jw?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

<p>Ja, da geht richtig was ab.

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe loading="lazy" title="Fire From The Gods - Thousand Lifetimes (Official Music Video)" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/qyHRMxyw6nE?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Die Ausnahmesongs </h3>

<p><strong>&#8222;8 Billion Rats&#8220;</strong> zeigt ebenfalls, zu was FIRE FROM THE GODS fähig sind. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Fazit</h3>

<p><strong>Jedenfalls kann man FIRE FROM THE GODS nicht mangelnde Vielseitigkeit vorwerfen. </strong></p>

<h2 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading">English review</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="720" height="340" src="https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/FIRE-FROM-THE-GODS-Titebild.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-135183" srcset="https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/FIRE-FROM-THE-GODS-Titebild.jpg 720w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/FIRE-FROM-THE-GODS-Titebild-300x142.jpg 300w, https://metal-heads.de/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/FIRE-FROM-THE-GODS-Titebild-520x245.jpg 520w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" /></figure>

<p><strong>FIRE FROM THE GODS </strong>(<a href="https://www.facebook.com/firefromthegods">Facebook</a>/<a href="https://www.firefromthegods.com/">Homepage</a>) from the U.S.A. inspired me with their first two albums &#8222;Narrative&#8220; and &#8222;American Sun&#8220;. <strong>The symbiosis between metal and rap had me fully picked up. </strong>In addition, singer <strong>AJ Channer simply has a terrific voice</strong> that you have to love. In the pop business you would call such a voice a golden voice with that you can produce worldwide hits. Maybe that was the reason why they produced the EP &#8222;American Sun Reimaginded&#8220;, on which they interpreted some songs of the LP again completely without guitars in a calm way. For me personally, however, this was superfluous and the band could already gain a large fan base with their previous music. Therefore I was a little bit uncertain, what kind of songs will appear on the new album &#8222;Soul Revolution&#8220; (release 28.10.&#8217;22). Will we get to hear firecrackers or cuddly songs?</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">A banger entry</h3>

<p>is the<strong> title track &#8222;Soul Revolution&#8220;</strong>, which really knocks my socks off. <strong>The song combines everything I love about the band. Melodic vocal lines to kneel down, horny dynamic rap interludes plus fat riffs and a good portion of aggression.</strong> Damn! What an awesome song! So I was very positively attuned to the album.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe title="Fire From The Gods - Soul Revolution (OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO)" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pxiFFZ57vW0?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Melodic stroking</h3>

<p>As hard as the introduction with the title track was, as harmless the journey continues for the most part. The initial aggressiveness disappears and the melodic orientation takes the lead. Of course, the vocal abilities of singer AJ Channer continue to fascinate, whose skills in both the rap passages and the melodic vocals are without a doubt world class.</p>

<p><strong>Already with the second song &#8222;SOS&#8220; the degree of hardness is reduced</strong> noticeably. Although there are still fat riffs and a good portion of bang, but the vocals sound much more melodic. Does not get me in any case as the opener, nevertheless, the chorus somehow settled in my head.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe title="Fire From The Gods - ‘SOS’" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mZSJMJJEzio?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Where is the journey going?</h3>

<p><strong>FIRE FROM THE GODS have never played only with explosive dynamite and have always let a soulful side flow in</strong>, but actually the new album has become altogether too poppy or too well-behaved for me. Such an unbridled energy as before is hardly to be found here. Just recall songs like &#8222;The Voiceless&#8220;, &#8222;Public Enemy&#8220; or <strong>&#8222;Excuse Me&#8220; (album &#8222;Narrative&#8220;)</strong>. Watch the following video and compare it with the others! Then you know what I mean!</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe title="Fire From The Gods - Excuse Me (Official Music Video)" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/F3wMPkrz3Jw?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

<p><strong>Yes, there is really something going on and grap me. </strong>A sound that releases an insane energy despite the melodic interludes. <strong>These are strong emotions for me! </strong>But now it really seems to go in the direction of mainstream. So<strong> now we better get out candles and cuddly blanket when FIRE FROM THE GODS present their soft side.</strong> This may be the reason why my wife is celebrating the album, especially harmonic songs like &#8222;Love Is Dangerous&#8220; or &#8222;Thousand Lifetimes&#8220; are totally her thing.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe loading="lazy" title="Fire From The Gods - Thousand Lifetimes (Official Music Video)" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/qyHRMxyw6nE?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The crackers </h3>

<p><strong>Yes, they exist…. The moments where I feel the old FIRE FROM THE GODS. </strong>These are on the one hand the above mentioned title track and opener<strong> &#8222;Soul Revolution&#8220;</strong>, which fits perfectly with the last track <strong>&#8222;Collapse&#8220;</strong>, which also has it in itself and shows the band how to make melodic and at the same time energetic songs. A huge soundscape that convinces with atmospheric parts, but evenly distributes brutal blows to the point of escalation.</p>

<p><strong>&#8222;8 Billion Rats&#8220; </strong>also shows what FIRE FROM THE GODS are capable of. It does not have to constantly thunder riff storms, because it also goes differently.<strong> Cool gloomy rap, which comes along super dynamic. </strong>At the end, the song ignites a real blast and hits you in the face.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h3>

<p>In fact, it is difficult for me to formulate a final evaluation for the new album &#8222;Soul Revolution&#8220; by FIRE FROM THE GODS. I can&#8217;t objectively call it a bad album, because <strong>purely musically the guys have produced great songs. </strong>However, for me the three tracks<strong> &#8222;Soul Revolution&#8220;, &#8222;8 Billion Rats&#8220; and &#8222;Collapse&#8220;</strong> <strong>stand out</strong>, which are absolutely top for me. But they are the exceptions on an album that overall goes more in the poppy direction. Objectively, these restrained songs are also well done.<strong> So the album in the whole remains more sweet dessert than hearty main dishes</strong>. My wife would give the album 9 points, but I find it not as rousing as the other two albums.</p>

<p><strong>Anyway, FIRE FROM THE GODS cannot be accused of lacking versatility. They can be a rousing storm, but they can also melt hearts.</strong></p>
