Wir von metal-heads.de haben uns mit Tye Zamora für ein Videointerview verabredet, um über seine zwei Bands ApeSh!T und \’mēk\ zu sprechen. Dafür sind wir fast 400 km mit dem Zug nach Hamburg gefahren und haben ihn vor der Show mit Sully Erna getroffen. Aktuell ist der Godsmack-Frontmann auf Tour um sein Album „Hometown Life“ zu promoten. Tye ist ein Teil dessen Liveband. Tye Zamora – Interview about ApeSh!T and \’mēk\

metal-heads.de met Tye Zamora for an interview to talk about his two bands ApeSh!T and \’mēk\. For this, we traveled nearly 400km to Hamburg by train and caught him before the show of Sully Erna. Soil mit neuer Platte im September 2017

Soil kündigen für den Spätsommer eine Compilation über die 20-Jährige Bandkarriere an. Nu Metal-Fans sollten jetzt genauer hinhören! Die Kapelle aus Chicago wird am Freitag, den 15. September 2017 über AFM Records sowie Pavement Entertainment den Silberling „Scream: The Essentials“ auf die Menschheit loslassen.

Das Konzept hinter der Platte ist einfach. Statt mit einem „Best Of“ die Fans zu überfluten, gibt es eine Zusammenstellung mit B-Seiten, alternativen Mixen sowie Cover-Songs. Zudem wird die Scheibe einen neuen Coversong des BLUES BROTHERS-Klassikers „Gimme Some Lovin“ beinhalten, der auch als Videosingle erscheinen wird. Ein weiteres Cover wird der SOUNDGARDEN-Hit „Rusty Cage“ sein. Desweiteren wird es einige Gastbeiträge von Lindy Gabriel (GABRIEL AND THE APOCALYPSE), Cristina Feliciano (OBLIVIOUS SIGNAL) und von Jake LaCore (GABRIEL AND THE APOCALYPSE) geben.

Tim sagte zu den Beiträgen:

I consider Lindy and Cristina two of the absolute best up-and-coming female vocalists out there. And with being all from the same USA record label (Pavement Entertainment), it was a great way to keep everything in the family. The result is a perfect nod to the band’s Chicago heritage, with a classic blues-based song that mixes a whole lotta rock, metal, and female fury pumped into the mix.“
