Metal Colonia Fest – der Rückblick 2019

Das Metal Colonia Fest 2019 fand ja schon September letzten Jahres im Club Volta statt und weit über vierhundert Metalheads aus Köln und Umgebung fanden sich ein, um die Neuauflage des Cologne Metal Festivals zu feiern. Wir von metal-heads.de waren natürlich auch vor Ort und haben fleißig Interviews geführt. Jetzt fragt ihr euch natürlich zu Recht, warum wir erst jetzt damit rausrücken… Tja, die Tücken der Technik. Ein Festplattencrash und dann eine mühsame Datenrettung (leider nicht ganz vollständig) führten zu tiefster Verzweiflung meinerseits. Daher ein großes Sorry an alle, die gewartet haben. Aber die gute Nachricht: Die Interviews ließen sich fast vollständig retten. Nur bei Methods Of Massacre hatten wir von Anfang an Tonprobleme und bei The Crimson Ghosts fehlt leider der Anfang. Aber der Rest ist da und wir hauen euch jetzt über 1 Stunde Spaß nahezu ungeschnitten um die Ohren. Viel Freude damit:

Auf die Gefahr hin, dass wir uns wiederholen: noch einmal eine große Bitte um Entschuldigung an unsere Interviewpartner, den Club Volta, die Veranstalter und euch Fans. Es hat viel zu lange gedauert, sorry! Aber viel wichtiger und jetzt an erster Stelle: PY und Pete – ihr seid die Besten! Vielen Dank an euch! Das Metal-Colonia Team – ihr seid super und danke für euer großartiges Engagement! Der Club Volta und Antonia – vielen Dank für euren Support, you keep the Underground alive! Und natürlich an alle Bands, die da waren und uns so viel Spaß bereitet haben. Up the Irons (in willkürlicher Reihenfolge) für Aardvarks, Mortal Peril, The Crimson Ghosts, Methods Of Massacre, 4 Kings, Dream Ocean, Neck Cemetery, Sic Zone, Antilles und Crownfall! Metal Colonia Fest II 2020 – die Warm Up Show

Angefangen hat es mit einer Kassette die ich von einem Kumpel bekam mit Running Wilds "Port Royal" und "Abigail" von King Diamond. Seitdem hat es mich nicht mehr losgelassen...
