S.O.R.M mit ihrer Rockhymne „I Die For My Rock ’n‘ Roll“
(english version below)
Damit bringt man jeder Party in Schwung.
S.O.R.M wollen mit diesem Song folgende Botschaft vermitteln:
„Gib niemals deine Träume auf, egal was passiert. Also denk dran, folge deinen Träumen!“

Micke: In Belgien!
Was ist passiert?
Micke: Es herrschte Zeitmangel.
MH: Vielen Dank Micke!

english version
Finally we hear something new from the Swedish band S.O.R.M. This year there will actually be the first longplayer of the band. The prelude for the new album ‚Under My Skin‘ is the new single „I Die For My Rock ’n‘ Roll“. And what better way to kick off a rock band than with a true rock anthem that simply puts you in a good mood. Guitarist Nick Petrino, who otherwise plucks the strings for none other than DEE SNIDER, contributes a superb guitar solo here. The song is super catchy and sprays a strong dose of pure good mood. With this you can get every party going.
S.O.R.M want to convey the following message with this song:
Never give up on your dreams, no matter what. Don’t let anyone make that decision for you. It’s not worth it in the long run. So remember, follow your dreams!

Singer Micke Holm in a short interview at ‚metal-heads.de
MH: The last time we had a conversation was at the end of last year. That was the first time we could talk face to face because you were on tour with the „Night Flight Orchestra“.
So let’s briefly look back at this tour. What was your experience as a band in Europe? Was it like you imagined it would be? How were the fans‘ reactions to S.O.R.M.? Did you rock the crowd?
Micke: Well, we had no experience with Europe before. It was much better than we had imagined. Unfortunately for us, the audience didn’t know that we were the opening act. But I must say that after our shows they certainly knew who we are.
MH: Where did you have the best beer on the tour?
Micke:In Belgium! But damn…I have no idea what it was, haha.
Live in IBIZA
MH: Actually, this year should continue with live performances, so that you continue to play your way into the hearts of the people. You recently had a gig on IBIZA at the HRH Festival. IBIZA is not exactly known as a metal hotspot. How was it there?
Are there any further concrete tour plans?
Micke: None of us have ever been to Ibiza. It was a hell of a show and the people once again went crazy and had a great party with us.
We still have some festivals and a tour planned this summer for the release of our album, but we can’t say anything concrete yet. But we have many gigs in our region here in Sweden. The best thing is to follow us on Facebook. There are always the latest news.
The new album ‚Under My Skin‘
MH: At that time we talked about your new album. You said it would probably be released in April, with two singles to be released before that. That would have actually been good timing after touring with THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA, but it obviously didn’t work out. What happened?
Micke: There was a lack of time. We needed more time to mix and master the album, and some quick changes were made. But it will be released in 2023. Probably it will be August or September. Two singles will be released before the album.
MH: Thanks a lot Micke! And until then, we can first celebrate with the new single „I Die For My Rock ’n‘ Roll“. The song fits perfectly to sunny summer days to celebrate properly!
