HÖRET & SEHET Februar(2) setzt heute auf knallharte Kost. Diese Bands werden Euch umhauen.

THE AMITY AFFLICTION

sind bei dem heutigen Trio wohl die bekannteste Band. Die Band stammt aus Australien und gibt sich dem Metalcore oder Post Core hin. Allerdings wurde dieser immer weiter aufgeweicht und THE AMITY AFFLICTION (Facebook) musste sich vorwerfen lassen sich mehr und mehr in poppigere Richtung zu entwickeln. Nun, darüber braucht man sich zumindest angesichts der neuen Single „I See Dead People“ keine Sorgen machen. Der Songs ist ein durchgehend hartes in pechschwarzer Düsternis getränktes Brett. Bleibt abzuwarten, was die Jungs auf dem nächsten Album veranstalten werden. Das letzte Album „Everyone Loves You…Once You Leave Them“ offenbarte zumindest wieder härtere Ansätze.

VISCERA

sind schon mit ihrer Single „Rats And Wings“ in unserer Playlist METALHEADs new stuff vertreten. Man könnte es in die Kategorie Deathcore einordnen. Eine Offenbarung an Zerstörung, die trotzdem ein gewisses Maß an Melodie nicht missen lässt. Somit ist mit VISCERA (Facebook) nicht nur stumpfes Geschrabbel am Start. Nun erfolgt mit „Carcinogenesis“ der zweite Einschlag in unsere Playlist. Das gleichnamige Album „Carcinogenesis“ wird am 03.03.’23 auf uns losgelassen werden. Und wenn man die bisherigen Singles als Grundlage dieses Albums nimmt, dann wird das einem Meteoriteneinschlag gleichkommen. Mach Euch selbst ein Bild von dem, was kommen wird.

EARTH CALLER

sind heute die Dritten im Bunde. Man könnte es wohl in in den Deathcore einordnen. Allerdings geht er mit den Synths mehr in die epische Richtung und hat einen modernen Auftritt. Die Synths machen den Unterschied. EARTH CALLER (Facebook) weichen den Sound nicht auf. Ganz im Gegenteil! Sie schenken dem Sound eine spezielle moderne Note, die dem verdammt harten Sound den besagten Epik-Faktor verpasst. Ich habe das in der Kombination noch nicht gehört und daher bin ich sehr gespannt, mit was die Band uns noch überwältigen wird.

THE AMITY AFFLICTION

are probably the best known band of today’s trio. The band comes from Australia and indulges in Metalcore or Post Core. However, this was softened more and more and THE AMITY AFFLICTION (Facebook) had to be accused of developing more and more in cheesy direction. Well, you don’t have to worry about that with the new single „I See Dead People“. This song is a consistently hard drenched in pitch-black gloom. Remains to be seen what the guys will do on the next album. The last album „Everyone Loves You…Once You Leave Them“ at least revealed harder approaches again.

VISCERA

are already represented with their single „Rats And Wings“ in our playlist ‚METALHEADs new stuff‚. You could classify it in the category of Deathcore. A revelation of destruction, which nevertheless does not miss a certain amount of melody. Thus, VISCERA (Facebook) is not just dull crawling at the start. Now follows with „Carcinogenesis“ the second impact in our playlist. The eponymous album „Carcinogenesis“ will be unleashed on us on 03.03.’23. And if you take the previous singles as a basis for this album, it will be like a meteorite impact. Make yourselves a picture of what will come.

EARTH CALLER

are the third in the group today. You could probably classify it in the Deathcore. The synths make the difference. EARTH CALLER (Facebook) does not soften the sound. Quite the opposite! They give the sound a special modern touch that gives the damn hard sound the said epic factor. I have not heard this in the combination yet and therefore I am very curious with what the band will overwhelm us.
