Willkommen im Jahr 2023!

Das Jahr ist ganz frisch gestartet und ich möchte eine etwas eingeschlafene Serie wieder zum neuen Leben erwecken. HÖRET & SEHET wurde mal ins Leben gerufen, um Euch neue sehens- und hörenswerte Videos vorzustellen. Leider ist es ein wenig eingeschlafen. Ich möchte es aber wieder ins Leben rufen. Daher nun der erste Teil direkt zum Start ins neue Jahr.

KINGSMEN

Ich war sooooo gespannt, was die KINGSMEN (Facebook) neues fabrizieren werden. Im April 2022 hatte ich die Single „Trial By Fire“ vorgestellt (Link). Erheblich später kam eine neue Single im Dezember 2022 raus, und zwar „Dead Letter“. Das Veröffentlichungskonzept erschließt sich mir nicht so ganz. So große Abstände zwischen den Singles sind nicht die Regel, wenn es um die Veröffentlichung eines neuen Albums geht. Aber scheinbar wurde kurzfristig alles nach hinten verschoben. Am 31.03.2023 soll nun das neue Album „Bones Don’t Lie“ erscheinen.

Egal, was da im Hintergrund nicht so rund läuft… Die Singles lassen darauf schließen, dass das neue Album der Hammer werden wird, auch wenn die neue Single „Dead Letter“ „Trial By Fire“ darauf schließen lässt, dass das neue Album etwas neue Wege gehen wird. Zumindest hat es den Anschein, dass der melodische Aspekt etwas mehr Raum eingeräumt wird. Wenn die Härte stimmt, habe ich kein Problem damit. „Dead Letter“ steigt soft ein, aber aus dem Song wird noch was. Die KINGSMEN bekommen aber noch die Kurve, so dass der anfangs poppige Song noch mal richtig einen raushaut und den Hammer kreisen lässt. So eine Mischung kann ich mir schon gefallen lassen. Bin sehr gespannt, wie das Album letztlich werden wird. Aber ich setze große Erwartungen in diese Band.

THE SILENCED

THE SILENCED (Facebook) kommt mit einer neuen Single daher. Diese Band habe ich auch schon länger auf dem Schirm. Sie hatten ein tolles Debüt mit ihrem Album „Orator“ im Jahr 2020 und seitdem war es ein wenig ruhig. Aber sie melden sich mit einem Paukenschlag zurück. Und dieser Paukenschlag heißt „The Detrimental Ones“. Was für ein Banger! Dieser Song sorgt für einen mächtigen Groove, der die Nacken schüttelt. Ein mitreißender Rhythmus, dem man sich nicht entziehen kann. Musik direkt und hart! So mag ich es und Ihr bestimmt auch! Ich hoffe, dass da bald auch ein Album geplant ist.

POP EVIL

Kommen wir zu den populärsten Vertretern in diesem Beitrag. Das sind POP EVIL (Facebook). Die werden am 17.03.2023 ihr neues Album „Skeletons“ veröffentlichen. Auch hier verspricht die Single ein hochkarätiges Album. Modern Metal, wie man es sich wünscht. Tolle Melodien gemischt mit einer wuchtigen Härte! Ja, das gefällt!!! Hoffen wir, dass das neue Album eine ähnliche Mischung bereit hält.

Und es gibt eine weitere Neuigkeit für 2023! Da ich herausgefunden habe, dass SPOTIFY irgendwie eine große Rolle beim Streaming spielt, habe ich nun beschlossen, einen eigenen Account zu buchen, um euch mit meiner persönlichen Playlist zu belästigen….äähhmmm zu beglücken. Das sollte Euch aber nicht davon abhalten, die Empfehlungen mit Geld zu bezahlen, soll heißen, dass Ihr physiche Exemplare in Form von CD’s oder Vinyl kauft, Merch erwerbt und Konzerte besucht. Vom Streaming allein kann keine Band ihre Unkosten bezahlen. Dessen sollte sich jeder Fan bewusst sein! Hier ist der Link zu meiner Playlist, die noch am Anfang steht:

Ich werde diese Playlist ständig auf dem neuesten Stand halten. Sollte sie euch gefallen, werde ich das Projekt fortsetzen. Ich möchte aber deutlich machen, dass meine musikalischen Vorlieben überall zu finden sind. Es wird also ein bunter Mix von Rock ’n‘ Roll bis Black Metal sein!

Welcome to the year 2023!

The year has just started and I would like to revive a somewhat dormant series. WATCH & SEE was created to introduce you to new videos worth seeing and hearing. Unfortunately it has fallen asleep a little bit. But I would like to bring it back to life. Therefore, now the first part directly to the start of the new year.

KINGSMEN

I was sooooo curious what the KINGSMEN (Facebook) will create new. In April 2022 I had presented the new single „Trial By Fire“ (Link). Considerably later a new single came out in December 2022, namely „Dead Letter“. The release concept doesn’t quite make sense to me. Such long gaps between singles are not the normal when it comes to the release of a new album. But apparently everything was shifted at short notice to the back. On 31.03.2023 the new album „Bones Don’t Lie“ should appear now.

No matter what is not going so well in the background… The singles suggest that the new album will be a great one, even if the new singles „Dead Letter“ and „Trial By Fire“ suggests that the new album will go somewhat new ways. At least it seems that the melodic aspect is given a more space. If the heaviness is right, I have no problem with it. „Dead Letter“ gets in softly, but this song will turn into something hard in between. The KINGSMEN fortunately manage that the initially poppy song knocks out and comes with a hard punch. I can put up with such a mixture. I’m very curious to see what the album will ultimately be. But I put great expectations in this band.

THE SILENCED

THE SILENCED (Facebook) comes along with one of the new single. I’ve had this band on my radar for a while. They had a great debut with their album „Orator“ in 2020 and since then it’s been a bit quiet. But they are coming back with a bang. And that bang is called „The Detrimental Ones“. What a banger! This song provides a powerful groove that shakes your neck. A rousing rhythm that you can not escape. Music direct and hard! That’s how I like it and I’m sure you do too! I hope that there is also an album planned soon.

POP EVIL

Let’s move on to the most popular representatives in this article. This is POP EVIL (Facebook). They will release their new album „Skeletons“ on March. 17, 2023. Again, the single promises a top-class album in Modern Metal. Great melodies mixed with a massive hardness! Yes, I like that!!! Let’s hope that the new album has a similar mixture ready.

And there is another news for 2023! Since I have found out that SPOTIFY somehow plays a big role in streaming, I have now decided to book its own account to bother you with my personal playlist…. hmmm to make you happy. But that shouldn’t stop you from paying the recommendations with cash. Streaming does not support the artists and bands so much. Every fan should be aware of that! Here is the link to my playlist:

You can be sure that I will keep this playlist constantly up to date. Should you like it, I will continue the project. But I want to make clear with the fact that my musical preferences are to be found everywhere. So it will be a colorful mix from Rock ’n‘ Roll to Black Metal!
