aus Texas sind pure aggressive Wildheit. Ganz ohne Aufwärmprogramm gibt es heute bei HÖRET & SEHET von den Texanern direkt Erdbeben Stufe 10. Da hat mein Körper noch Zuckungen, wenn der Song schon längst vorbei ist. Voll geil! Das letzte Album „Southern Hostility“ (2019) und die EP „Built From War“ (2020) waren schon sehr geil und jeder Metalcore-Fan sollte diese in seiner Sammlung haben. Die Songs fetzen hammermäßig bzw. zerfetzen alles und jeden.

Aktuell ist mir die Single „Extermination“ um die Ohren geflogen. Unfassbar, was für eine explosive Energie die Männer freisetzen. UPON A BURNING BODY (Facebook) zählt aktuell mit zu den explosivsten Bands, die der Metal zu bieten hat. Glaubt Ihr nicht? Dann drückt auf `Play´, dreht die Lautstärke hoch und es wird Euch einfach gnadenlos umhauen! (Das Label `Seek & Strike´ hat neben UABP übrigens auch ORBIT CULTURE unter Vertrag. lassen mit ihrer neuen Single „Eraser“ etwas ruhiger angehen, obwohl die Schweden es sonst auch gerne richtig krachen lassen. Die neue Single von EYES WIDE OPEN (Facebook) stammt vom neuen Album „Through Life and Death“, was am 12. November erscheinen soll. Die charismatische Power-Ballade „Eraser“ gibt Euch eine gute Mischung von melodischer Härte und schönen gefühlvollen Passagen.

Wer EYES WIDE OPEN energischer erleben möchte, dem möchte ich das folgende Video „Devastation“ ans Herz legen. Dort geht es heftiger zur Sache. Ein richtig majestätischer Banger durch und durch. Die Männer haben einfach verdammt geile Hooks zu bieten. Das kommende Album dürfte mal wieder ein Knaller werden, wenn man sich die bisher veröffentlichten Songs so anhört. Bei EYES WIDE OPEN gibt es eben das volle Programm!

SPACE OF VARIATIONS

aus der Ukraine hauen noch mal richtig auf den Putz. Allerdings dürfte die Mischung aus massivem Metalcore und Rap bei der neuen Single „Ultrabeat“ nicht jedermanns Geschmack sein. Ich finde aber, dass man auch ruhig mal andere Wege als Band gehen kann. Das sehen wohl auch viele andere so, denn das Video einigen Wochen bereits weit über 160.000 Views zu verzeichnen. Die Mischung ist zwar nicht neu, doch meiner Meinung nach hier sehr gut umgesetzt. SPACE OF VARIATIONS (Facebook) gehen in den Strophen brachial wie ein Panzer voran, um dann in den Refrains mit schmachtenden gefühlvollen Sangeskünsten kurz die Wogen zu glätten. Der Beitrag von der ukrainischen Rapperin `alyona alyona´ macht nen coolen Groove und fügt sich toll ein. Sehr modern agierende Band, mit der man schon mal die Hütte abreißen kann.

are taking it a bit easier with their new single „Eraser“, although the Swedes usually like to let it rip. The new single from EYES WIDE OPEN (Facebook) comes from the new album „Through Life and Death“, which is scheduled for release on November 12. The charismatic power ballad „Eraser“ gives you a good mix of melodic heaviness and damn beautiful soulful passages.

If you want to experience EYES WIDE OPEN more energetically, I would like to recommend the following video „Devastation“. There it goes more violently to the thing. are really hitting the spot again. However, the mixture of massive metalcore and rap in the new single „Ultrabeat“ might not be to everyone’s taste. But I think that you can also go quietly other ways as a band. Many others probably see it that way, because the video some weeks already far more than 160,000 views to register. The mixture is not new, but in my opinion very well implemented here. SPACE OF VARIATIONS (Facebook) drives forward brute like a tank in the verses , to then in the choruses with languishing soulful singing skills briefly smooth the waves. The contribution of the Ukrainian rapper `alyona alyona´ makes a cool groove and fits in great. Very modern acting band, with which you can already burn down the house.
